Hello to everybody, My name is Loïck, from Paris, France. Miata fan for 3 years, I bought a miata ("mx5" for european countries) in October 2004. A 1995 1.6 90HP Classic Red. 103000 Miles today, so brand new . Since I have it, I don't stop driving across France. It's gorgeous ! Even after 3 years, each morning when I take my car, it's with the same pleasure as the first day. I use to go to California on Vacation. I've spent 7 weeks last summer and will plan to go back there next summer for 5 weeks and maybe more... My location is Simi Valley when I'm there. I've just seen that Alsud06 was registered on your forum. We share the same forums in France (mx5passion.com and miatacotedazur.com). Cool !

I would love to drive a Miata over there.... I will check the site for any other replays from you. If you are over here do get intuch with us ether here or on Miata.net

I'm not alone !!! ;D If you want pictures of french countryside, I can put some on the forum, but it's gonna be hard for you to see it from your country. Several members also go to the race circuits to test their MX5. They run with caterham and Smart roadsters. MX5 aren't so famous in France compared to the US or even Germany, Great britain even if it's the most sold roaster in the world. But with the brand new generation (the NC), people go easily to Mazda car dealers knowing the great quality and pleasure they can get with a MX5. I think one of the reasons is that the MX5, like the Solstice (dealed by Opel ans Vauxhall under the name GT) and the new Dodge, keeps a soft top and a english roaster line, in another words the roadster spirit. Too many CC (Coupé-Convertible) are on the market the Peugeot 206, 207, Opel Tigra TwinTop, Nissan Micra CC... So, I'll go to visit the Miata.net forum. See ya.

Hello Loïck, Thanks for stopping by and saying hello! I have to second what TH said and say that it is pretty neat to see others, especially those from another country post messages. Your country sounds beautiful and must have some great roads to drive a miata. Maybe someday I will get a chance to visit France. Thanks for sharing some pictures. Looks like you have a quite a car and appears to be in prestine condition. How fun! If you are interested in seeing some of what we do check out our photo gallery socalm.phanfare.com/ and get a taste of the fun we have. Maybe when you vacation again here in the states you will give us a call and we can go for a ride on some of our favorite roads. Look forward to seeing more of your posts! Lisa

Salut Loik !
Je suis un francais expat et vis a Los Angeles - Fait moi signe si tu vien dans le pays. Je garde precieusement un inventaire de petite routes au paysages merveilleux pour des miata-ballades !

In 2 days, a flight will carry me to the sunny State. 5 weeks of pleasure. I'll try to find a time to meet you during my stay. Just to share with you some pictures of "Red October" with its new painting and a Meguiar's Wax treatment.
