Hello. I'm Robert Arance. You may remember me from such classic SOCALM events like "Nightmare on Aliso Canyon Road", "Lockwood Valley Derby", and "Driver's School Madness", Parts 1, 2, 4, and 5.
The time has come for me to part with my precious Miata. As I have turned my interest and passion to scuba diving, I have found the Miata to be lacking in room to carry the prodigious amounts of gear we divers need. I have thus purchased a more capable Diver Delivery Vehicle, managing to at least keep the purchase within the Mazda catalog (see image below)
So...the Miata is for sale (never thought I'd be saying that...at least not until I was too old to bend myself in and out of it). Now, she's a bit threadbare I admit. She is, after all, 17 years old, and has turned just over 225,000 miles (those of you who might remember my driving style know that the miles I put on her weren't exactly leisurely). The last 4 years it's been out in the cold so paint is dingy and the plastics are faded. Left rear fender is bent (used the insurance money to buy u/w camera gear). The car comes with hardtop (scratched...long story), hardog harcore dbl diag, 1.8 liter front brakes, braided brake lines, Jackson bars fr and rr, air horn, yadda yadda. Dino sterring wheel has no airbag, but I have that seperate with OEM wheel. 15" custom (??) wheels with Kumho tires (much tread). Recently replaced timing belt, water pump, idlers, various seals and gaskets. Ideally, I would like to sell it to someone planning to convert it into a Spec racer or timetrial car. I'm located in Val Verde, a couple of miles west of Castaic, off the 126. Pictures available upon request.
Asking $1500.
Order now and receive a Saris Bones bike rack (an $80 value) FREE!!
Shipping is free within 73 miles of location, afer that you buy me lunch.
My email is orangelion03 on yah-hew.
Tidings of joy,
Robert Arance
